TOP TEXTILE COLLEGES OF HARYANA

I would like to share with you that in the last week of April Mr. Ranjit Bhatia, Rotarian PDG, an exporter and a social worker along with Prof. Jiri Militky and Prof. Dana Kremenokova from the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic along with Dr. Rajesh Mishra and Prof. B. K. Behara conducted an INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TECHNICAL TEXTILE at the premises of Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) situated at Samalkha (70 mile stone) on NH1, affiliated to Kurukshetra University and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India. They chose this college because it is named as the Top Textile Engineering Colleges of Haryana, Top Institutes in Haryana, which provides a Textile Engineering Degree which is comprised of textile harvesting, textile processing using scientific and engineering principles and theories, machinery used, energy conservation, waste and pollution control etc. This course offers an interesting scientific career to work with fibers and a few other textile materials and account for improving the current textile products as well as create new innovative ones.

The point here worth mentioning is that in a country of such diverse cultures and traditions, religions and sects where people have different clothing and different ways of living.  Dresses vary with cultures and seasons, festivals and social and family functions, there are less than 100 institutions wide spread across the country which provide courses in Textile Engineering. If I talk about North India, the Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is one such college which has this facility for the students who would have ever wanted to join textile engineering as a profession in view of the large scope in the growing market world vide. That is the story behind establishment of this college just 20km ahead of Panipat, which is the textile hub of Haryana, India and the world. It is actually a big step for the PIET management to fulfill the needs of students within the region who don’t have means and ways to travel far off.

The fact remains unchanged that Textile industry is one of India’s fastest growing industries and the companies are catering to international and domestic markets. Keeping these facts into consideration, Textile Engineering can be categorized as a good course for students who aspire to make their mark in the field of fashion. This particular branch of Engineering is pursued by many people all over the nation, who are aspiring for a bright career.

The Panipat Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Top Colleges of Haryana and Delhi NCR is known for the infrastructure campus culture and repute as award winners. The visiting professors from the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic have announced that four students from this college would be invited to their university as a gesture of appreciation the way education is being imparted here. Prof. Jiri Militky compared this institute to a grafted tree producing different fruits on different branches with a common root.

Even the state governor said that it is one the unique colleges of its kind in this region, which has rightly been adjudged as number two in Haryana carrying four and a half star rating.
