Best Engineering College in 2018

PANIPAT INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (PIET), the Best Engineering College in 2018, the Best Engineering Colleges, is located at 70 mile stone on Delhi-Panipat highway. It is approved by AICTE, Govt. of India and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. This ten year old institute has consistently grown to make its way up to attain a status of being the best of 2018 and has recently (on 19th May ’18) decalred ‘The best Engineering College of 2018 among top 20 in North India’, the award presented by the State Agriculture Minister Smt. Krishna Raj and Lt. General Shri G D Bakshi. 

We claim to produce engineers who are capable professionals and are globally acceptable technocrats, competent enough to transform situations, environments and systems in an unbelievable way.  Engineering enables this understanding to come to life through problem solving, designing and building things. The electronic device you are using to read this article was engineered from raw plastic, metal, silicon and lines of software code before being transformed into a usable device. These skills rely heavily on rational thinking and logical decision making, which is why most Engineers come from science and maths backgrounds. Yet despite this fact Engineering is a highly creative activity, especially when complicated problems are involved. The modern Engineer is also very software savvy and can use a range of different computing programs to assist in verifying designs and predicting how structures will behave in the environment.

This institute is located on NH-44 (earlier NH1) and is spread over 19 acres area with a world class infrastructure comprising of 20 computer labs. With 1200 computers, library with around 50,000 volumes, net café, an amphitheater big enough to seat 3000+, round the clock internet with WI-FI facilities, cafeterias, ATM, stationery shop, smart class rooms with AC facility, hostels for boys and girls and residential complex for faculties which make it a complete and self contained education centre. And above all, our latest edifice, an elegantly built auditorium, named after Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, to seat 500+, which has experienced the foot fall of many men of letters and high repute gives this institute a unique identity in the region.

This institute is one stop solution for rural and urban population of Haryana and students from Delhi NCR. Not ending here, many more come from other states of India as well as some of the neighboring countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. We have in place customized activity based programs, which help students to acclimatize to this multi cultural and multi lingual amalgamation. The students thus are able to remove these gaps with ease. This is a step towards an overall development and exposure.  Such programs help in creating a harmonious learning atmosphere for one and all.
