Rakesh Tayal, Member BOG, PIET inaugurated the camp by being the first donor and encouraged the youth to come forward and contribute in such drives which would make them feel mentally strong as a good job done for the unknown makes the souls pure. He said you won’t even ever know whose life you have saved nor would the survivor know whose blood saved him but The God knows and shall bestow His blessings on you.

A total 126 units of blood were donated by the PIET students. The Chief Guest of the day felt more than satisfied and said that he was thankful to the management and students of this institute who are constantly organizing blood donation camps and are the torch bearers for other educational colleges. He added that education is not just books but a blend of all aspects of life.
