Textile Engineering Colleges in India

Textile engineering means clothing people in a way that they get good jobs. It is in fact a science of appearance which improves the personality of people greatly. There are so many labs and workshops to expose you practically to all nuances of textile manufacturing which include textile harvesting, textile processing using scientific and engineering principles and theories, machinery used, energy conservation, waste and pollution control etc. Textile technology is all about scientific study and methodologies for the processing and production of yarns, fibers and fabrics. This involves an in depth study of various reactions of chemicals and fibers on human skin as these both come in physical contact. It has a much larger scope in terms of designing, manufacturing and sales across boundaries because by nature man likes to have designs which are not common in the area he lives in. it is a stream of an on going creative research and innovation in terms of techniques, designs and material.


The faculty team at PIET is the most competent one to take you through the process of mechanical, industrial and chemical in such a way as to strengthen wards in basic concepts of this business and making them technically sound. You are also exposed to training in plant designing, wet process, dying and printing. Guest lectures from inland experts and international seminars are also a tool to upgrade the skill and knowledge of students.
