The institute is an emblem of grandeur in ichnography and infrastructure. It also enjoys the benefits of its location, being on the brink of the NH1, just at a travel distance of 50 minutes from Delhi border and you can touch the textile city of Panipat in another 20 minutes from here. The institute spreads its arms from Delhi to Kurukshetra on G T Road, cities of Rohtak, Hissar, Jind, Gohana and Radur on the side ways further to Sahmli in UP. And above all about 80 Haryana villages in the periphery of Panipat District, which part of services has been greatly appreciated by the erstwhile President of India, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, who said,
“Since I advocate extending education to the rural areas, I had a great anxiety to visit this institute. In the era of woman empowerment I am all the more impressed to find so many girls pursuing Engineering and computer courses, which is good sign for the country. I would like to say that problems are always there in our day to day life, but you, as students, have to learn the art of converting these problems into opportunities, which is always possible. When we talk about infrastructure, there is only one word that it is world beating. The beautiful air-conditioned buildings are surrounded by tree grooves and the area is as vast as 16 acres. There are hostels for boys and girls because students here come from all parts of the country from J&K to North East, Central India, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa etc. Similar is the case of faculty team members and, therefore, there are faculty houses as well. A beautifully built mess provides safe and hygienic food for all including the day scholars. Simultaneously a few more cafeterias are provided to satiate the needs of students. A huge library stores around 50,000 books which help the aspirants to economise on buying books while enhancing their knowledge at the college courtesy. A digital library too supports the book library to complement the gaps in latest information flow. An open air theater lies in the middle of various blocks and is always alive with activities. This is the place where the students get an opportunity to exhibit their extracurricular skills. For many others it provides opportunity to coordinate and organize college events and add to their managerial skills.
